How is Smogon full of noobs? I go and post there, and they seem like anything but noobs.

Secondly, here's my idea:
We need forum activities to make this more active, right? So why don't we just have a forum Tournament in the Battle Section, a forum RP in the RP section, and a forum Spriting Contest in the Art Section? Those are three things we could try, and we know people will be able to participate in at least ONE of those.

Those are just my thoughts on this.

Dunno. I've always thought of EPL as a small cult of people, not, well, a huge forum like Serebii or Marriland where you know basically no one.

I kinda like it being small and knowing everyone, y'know? Kinda like... we're in a house, and we're all some sort of... family?
crap, i'm cheesy.

But the point is, I don't really like unfamiliar people myself, and it's not that the forum is INACTIVE, it's just that we do all of our chatting on the CB.
Maybe that '50 posts a week' rule should just be enforced again, even if it didn't last long.
Though I think you should cut it down to 20.

They aren't nasty. If we're gonna have members, don't you think..well...that the fact that some of our members are..I dunno..pervy, would scare newer members away? ..; I mean, I'm sure Lizzy wouldn't mind if I warned her first, but some of the others might be kinda..I dunno...intolerant, I suppose. They're all nice and dun like fighting, and I do agree that the fighting needs to stop or be settled better. And the rules definitely need enforcing. No matter if I seem hypocritical, 'cause I probably seem that way but..you get it. lD

Anyways, I know many people on PP that are nice and would be good members. I can get Lizzy's MSN and give her the URL, since PP doesn't allow linking to other forums. And if I ask her who's Emails she has, she may be able to help me in recruiting members. Only if the two..er..problems are fixed, though, because I dun wanna pull Lizzy or anyone else into it.

EDIT: Most of these are role players, as well, and could get the role playing section up and running if I asked them to. Not that I'm, like, a boss or somethin' to them but I know them well. And I also don't want EPL turning into a huuuugggeeeee forum where you'd only know a few people and such, but I also do like new members- just not a ton of members is all. Not that I have ANY say in it, but..yeah. ..;

-Small family may be good, but some of us like to see new faces and meet new people. ;A;
I really don't think EPL could ever succeed as a large forum like Serebii or whatever, but a slightly larger active population (CB KILLS FORUM ACTIVITY. I LOVE IT, BUT IT DOES) would be nice.
And like it's been addressed before, a larger crowd draws more people interested in different parts of the forum itself.

-The forum activities are a great idea. Maybe the mods of those specific forum sections could throw something together? Or a creative member. o:

-Subeta seems like a good place to recruit, like Adam said. I think I can scout out Pokemon roleplayers on Neo, but I don't know if I can find any GOOD ones. STILL THINKING ABOUT THIS, HOKAIIII?

-It's great that we have one or two(maybe more) people recruiting already, but I think we should all try it at least once.

-The perviness thing... I would put in an effort to tone it down and let new members get used to it slowly. I'M WILLING (srsly don't edit this into a silly quote >C)

Well, I'm running a small tournament now and I plan to run more.
If people get interested in RPing, we'll get more forum activity in the RP section...
And maybe some games? Dunno.
